Contemporary Next125 Kitchen in a 300 year old stone cottage
The creative team from Studio5 worked on this wonderful project, which included a house extension to increase the footprint of the property to give the owners more room for a kitchen/living space.
Whilst the stunning NX901 Gloss Glass Stone Grey door fronts from Schuller are very modern and contemporary, the colour choices and the materials on the interior complement the stunning stone exterior of the cottage and sloping roofline.

AEG
A suite of AEG appliances were used in this beautiful kitchen design. From the twin Siemens single iQ700 ovens in the tall bank, to the AEG downdraft induction hob in the island, the AEG appliances partner up perfectly with Schuller & Next125.
The large footprint island with informal bar seating and under-counter wine cooler adds a great food preparation and entertaining space.
A chunky corner breakfast bar contrasts in colour and material choice (i.e. Old Oak Barrique) to the white quartz worktop and in doing so, adds greater depth to the island.
Now showing the island and chunky breakfast bar from the reverse angle you can see that whilst preparing food, there is ample prep space between the hob and sink, which are not encroached upon by the breakfast bar and bar stools opposite.
This allows for uninterrupted food prep whilst simultaneously hosting.

As the decorative end panels are not available in the Next125 Glassline, an exact colour match Stone Grey slab door was used for the island to mirror the decorative panels and avoid a clash of glass versus non glass surfaces. The finished island is remarkable and the drawer packs are capable of 40-70kg loading, depending on configuration choices.
This AEG Combohob with carbon filtering exhausts the air from the downdraft extractor and has a recirculation feature with a ground level exhaust at the rear.
The grease filter can be easily removed and is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
